Alexandra of Korora Knits traveled the world before settling in British Columbia, Canada. This is the year she decided to offer her original knit pattern to all of us to enjoy. Her catalog features classic knit accessory designs with unique twists such as adding beads to lace, or a surprise heart in a vanilla sock. Alexandra achieves her goal of creating functional and beautiful designs.

As a young girl in Ireland, Bronaugh Miskelly, aka La Purple Penguin dreamed of being a fashion designer. Now she is designing original knit patterns for magazines, yarn companies, and YOU! Inspired by the Irish landscape of her childhood, she aims to create patterns that are as enjoyable to make as they are to show off. They certainly look cozy. With her pointy sticks La Purple Penguin creates knit accessories featuring classic lines and beautiful lace details.

Kristin Dale of Lakebound Knits grew up on the shores of Lake Superior. Her “Up North” life provides much of the inspiration for her knitwear accessories. A graphic artist living in Portland, OR, Lee has been designing accessories since 2007. Her work uses bold color and inspired stitch patterns to create beautiful and unexpected textures. Lee’s work is truly original. Note, proceeds of sales are donated to mutual aid societies and/or social justice movements.
