Highly allergic to sheep’s wool, Monique’s work features cotton and less common animal fibers, which can also be adapted to other fibers. Many of her patterns are interesting techniques combined with calming stockinette or garter. When not designing Monique hosts the Knitting on the Run Podcast.
WIP Insanity has been knitting for 40 years and designing for 20. She enjoys creating pieces that look complex, but are still approachable in execution. Much of her work features stunning colorwork, while others focus on texture moving in unexpected directions.

She has two published books and her work patterns can now be found for sale on Payhip and Lovecraft. Anniken has full line of knitwear and knit accessory patterns, many featuring her skills as a lace knitter, as well as stranded colorwork.
