That Metzbower Girl Design has been offering a full range of knitwear and accessories for 10 years. Melissa Metzbowers’s patterns are both beautiful and practical, designed to fulfill a need. Her work features lacy details and often combines color blocking with captivating textures. And, to me, many of her knitwear evoke retro aesthetics while never feeling dated.

Tired of sheep’s wool? Prefer cotton (gasp)? Monique Leonard has patterns for you. Highly allergic to sheep’s wool, Monique’s work features cotton and less common animal fibers, which can also be adapted to other fibers. Many of her patterns are interesting techniques combined with calming stockinette or garter. When not designing Monique hosts the Knitting on the Run Podcast.

Love Lace? UK based teacher, designer, and YouTube Anniken Allis of Yarn Addict is a master of lace knitting. She has two published books and her work patterns can now be found for sale on Payhip and Lovecraft.  Anniken has full line of knitwear and knit accessory patterns, many featuring her skills as a lace knitter, as well as stranded colorwork.
